Christie DeFrancesco
Christie founded Art of Motion Events in 2006, transitioning into a design and decor career after selling the successful event DJ company she’d been operating since 1996. A creative thinker with years of event execution experience, Christie brings a wealth of vision to our projects, and is personally involved in each event the team undertakes.
Striving to be more of a leader than a boss, she promotes a culture of equality among the team, allowing each to reach their potential. Her uniquely qualifying combination of experience from corporate, social and celebrity events, entertainment, and media, gives her an unparalleled perspective to share with her clients.  She continues to challenge herself and her team to higher levels of performance in order to develop exclusive, tailored experiences.
Dennis DeFrancesco

With over 30 years of business experience, and a background that includes creative and analytic roles, Dennis brings a unique perspective to both the design and execution elements of our décor assignments. Always looking to streamline processes and improve efficiency, Dennis’ efforts help manage expenses, contributing to improved ROI for our clients.

Having previously worked for both very small companies, and Fortune 500 titan IBM (for 17 years), Dennis’ well-rounded experience includes successful roles as a graphic designer, copywriter, database marketer, data quality analyst and team leader, and web marketing specialist. With AOM, Dennis leverages that experience wearing many hats, from project consulting to inventory management, from logistics to contractor hiring – whatever is needed to ensure successful projects and client satisfaction.

Leslie Ivey

On her journey to seek out the joys and thrills of life, Leslie Ivey has taken a unique path that has resulted in amazing skills, experiences, and accolades. Starting in the event industry at the age of 15 she has worked in every possible facet including florals, rentals, catering, trade shows and wholesale. This vast experience has given her intimate knowledge of the inner workings of all areas of events. Her ability to compose florals in many different styles, take original creative ideas from paper to reality, and quickly adapt designs in changing environments makes her an invaluable team player. She brings her creativity, passion, and hard work to every project large and small and is constantly striving to grow and learn with every experience.

As the Creative Designer for AOM Leslie brings her array of real world event skills to this stellar team. No matter the client, destination, style, or budget she understands each need and is excited to make a magical environment for you and your guests.

Bill Hamilton
Bill loves the event industry, and loves to make his brides cry (in a good way!) Over time, Bill has accumulated has an impressive resume including weddings for three professional athletes, holiday decor for two different Governors of Michigan, and having his work featured in publications such as Michigan Meetings & Events, The Perfect Wedding Guide, The Knot and Style Me Pretty. His designs have been featured on episodes of the TV show “Whose Wedding is it Anyway,” and he has appeared many times on Detroit, Michigan, Fox 2 Morning News for his creative and budgetary driven decorating idea.
Bill has dedicated his time to the education and leadership within his industry, sitting on both local and national boards within NACE & ILEA. He’s also taught classes at Eastern Michigan University on design and starting up a business.
